The foundation for all Wilton Method Cake Decorating courses is Decorating Basics!
A four week course packed full of vital information on cake preparation, icing and decorating techniques. In this course you will learn how to correctly bake, level, torte, fill and most importantly how to ice a cake smooth. Techniques that are taught hands-on include star fill in, writing and printing in icing, piping gel transfers, stars, zip-zag, and shell borders, figure piping, leaves, drop flowers, rosette, pompom flower, shaggy mum, and the ribbon rose.

- Wilton Ready to Use Icing 1lb can
- Meringue Powder (small canister)
- Piping gel (not the decorator gel tubes)
- Icing colors
