Decorating Basics – Lesson 1

Students are welcome to bring food and drink into the classroom.
Bring to class: Decorating Basics Student Kit, Wilton Ready to use Decorator Icing (important it is NOT a Betty Crocker/Duncan Hines Icing for consistency), at least 6 FLAT sugar cookies (store bought is fine), Icing Colors (optional)
We will discuss the fundamentals of Cake Decorating from Baking to Icing your cake smooth and crumb free.
We will also go over the contents of your kit and many other decorating items to prepare you for the Course. You will also practice Star tip decorating on the cookies in class.
